Brian Adamson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and change management. Currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Officer at eu-LISA since April 2023, Brian specializes in project management for the ETIAS initiative and contract management with external suppliers. Previous roles include Responsable Domaine Projets Métiers at Les Grands Chais de France, where Brian facilitated digital transformation through project management, and Organizational Change Manager at Roche, focusing on SAP S4HANA implementation. Brian's career also encompasses global change management roles at Syngenta and change and communication management at Roche, as well as various positions at Mars Incorporated, where major contributions were made to change methodologies and capabilities across multiple countries. Educational accomplishments include a B.Sc (Hons) in Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Heriot-Watt University.

This is the official company page for the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA). eu-LISA was established to manage large-scale information systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. It fulfils the operational management tasks for Eurodac, the Schengen Information System (SIS II) and the Visa Information System (VIS). The Agency thus supports the implementation of the EU's border management, asylum and migration policies. eu-LISA has also been entrusted with the preparation, development and operational management of the European Entry-Exit System (EES), the European Travel Information and Authorisation Systems (ETIAS) as well as the European Criminal Records Information System - Third Country Nationals (ECRIS-TCN) and ensure that both these and the already existing systems are interoperable. eu-LISA is responsible for keeping all the IT systems under its control permanently functional in order to allow continuous and uninterrupted exchange of data between national authorities.
