John McDonald

John McDonald is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of biology, currently serving as a Professor of Biology and the Director of the Integrated Cancer Research Center at Georgia Tech since September 2006. In addition to this role, John McDonald has been the Chief Scientific Officer at the Ovarian Cancer Institute since September 2005. Prior to these positions, John McDonald was a Professor and Department Head at the University of Georgia's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from September 2000 to July 2005. John McDonald holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and has completed post-doctoral research at UC San Diego and served as a Research Scientist at the Cancer Center Columbia University.
