As Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying and converting potential customers. You will conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand customer needs and present our solutions effectively. Your role will involve guiding customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
You will also be working closely with other internal teams at Glean including the wider Sales team and the Demand Generation team.
The Glean Sales team is made up of three areas that work seamlessly together. Together, our team focuses on North American Higher Educational sales, led by our Sales Manager (Izzy):
🌱 Prospecting and engaging with potential customers.
🔎 Qualifying leads and delivering compelling product demonstrations.
🤔 Be curious to understand customer problems and requirements, and how Glean can solve institutional challenges with peer note taking and other accommodations.
🤝 Guiding customers through the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
💰 Developing account growth strategies to maximise revenue.
📈 Tracking and reporting on key sales activities.
💡 Identifying ways to improve upselling strategies, pitches and processes.
🤍 Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Success and Product, to advocate for our key customers.

£33,000 - £38,000 dependent upon experience.
Our commission structure for the Account Executive role at Glean is uncapped. Would expect the OTE to be in the region of £60k-75k.

We have a beautiful office space in Leeds and we love it when we get together to collaborate in person. We typically operate a hybrid way of working, however some of our roles support remote working within the UK, if you live more than 50 miles from the office.
