Abram Barth

General Counsel at GRAIL

Abram Barth, JD, MPH, is General Counsel at GRAIL. He joined GRAIL in 2018 and has global responsibility for GRAIL’s legal matters and strategy, and also serves as GRAIL’s Privacy Officer. Previously, Abram was an attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he advised life sciences and healthcare clients. Prior to that, he served as an associate chief counsel at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Abram is a member of the bar associations for California, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts. He received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Virginia, and a JD and MPH from Boston University, where he was a Health Law, Bioethics, and Human Rights fellow.
