Rick Hoobler

Rick Hoobler is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in UX/UI and product design across various industries. Currently serving as VP of Design at iFIT since May 2024, Rick has held significant roles at Northwestern University as part of the Engineering Design Innovation advisory board and as adjunct faculty. Prior to iFIT, Rick was VP of Experience Design at Cerence Inc. and served as VP of Design at iRobot, where notable achievements included scaling the design team, generating significant annual savings, and enhancing app revenue and ratings. Rick's career at Motorola included leadership as Global UX Design Director, contributing to the successful launch of over 40 products. Earlier experience at Fitch, Inc. involved designing for high-profile clients and diverse sectors. Rick holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
