David Aronoff

David Aronoff currently serves as Chair at Indiana University School of Medicine and as a Physician at Indiana University Health, positions held since January 2022. Prior to these roles, David was a Professor and the Addison B Scoville, Jr Chair in Medicine, as well as the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from October 2013 to January 2022. David also held key positions at the University of Michigan, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, contributing to patient care and research from July 2002 to October 2011. Additionally, David was part of the Program Committee for the American Society for Microbiology from 2009 to 2015. David holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Microbiology from Indiana University Bloomington, with previous educational experience at the University of Kent.
