Sophie Dessart has had a range of roles in various companies throughout their work experience. Dessart, started their career in 2000 as a Support Engineer at LMS International, where they worked until 2004 when they became a Customer Services Manager. In 2008, they joined IBA as a Customer Services Operations Manager for RadioPharmacy and Industrial Solutions, and then became a Customer Services Operations Manager for ProtonTherapy Solutions in 2010. Sophie later progressed to become the Customer Services Director for ProtonTherapy Solutions in 2013. Dessart, held this position until 2017 when they became the R&D Director at IBA. In 2018, they took on the role of Sustainability Director before becoming the HR Business Partner Director in 2019, which they currently hold.
Sophie Dessart obtained their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université catholique de Louvain in the period from 1995 to 2000. Dessart, also holds a certification in Management Acceleration Programme from INSEAD.
