Marco Corbo is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Director of Bioinformatics at MEDGENOME, role commenced in December 2021. Previously, Marco held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of California, Davis from February 2019 to December 2021, focusing on mammalian chromosomal chromatin structures and their evolutionary implications. Prior to that, Marco completed a PhD in Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology at Università di Pavia, where tenure spanned from 2015 to 2019, and also earned a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the same institution from 2013 to 2015. The academic journey began with a Laurea triennale in Biological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Palermo, obtained in 2013.
