What You’ll Do:

Payroll & Benefits Administration Manage and support employees with benefits enrollment, issue resolution, and compliance with benefits-related regulations. Oversee FMLA and leave administration, ensuring adherence to federal and multi-state requirements. Partner directly with external vendors to manage benefits programs and services. Serve as a backup to the Payroll Manager, assisting with payroll processing to maintain accuracy, compliance, and business continuity.
Enhance HR Systems & Processes – Identify opportunities for system integrations, streamline documentation, and recommend innovative HR solutions.
Ensure Compliance & Best Practices – Stay ahead of employment laws and regulations, generate reports, and support audits in partnership with the legal team.
Be a Trusted HR Partner – Provide professional and proactive support to employees and managers, making a meaningful impact on the organization.

Support the Employee Lifecycle – Provide guidance on job descriptions, salary recommendations, HR policies, and employee relations. Assist with onboarding, learning & development initiatives, and performance management.

 

What We’re Looking For:

✔ 5+ years of HR generalist experience, including payroll and benefits administration
✔ Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
✔ US-based HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP or PHR)
✔ Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll best practices, and benefits compliance
✔ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to work independently with general direction, demonstrating initiative and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement rather than waiting for instruction

✔ Willingness to travel domestically (<10%)
