OTC Flow continues its journey towards becoming the market leader in the environmental commodity sector. We are actively seeking for junior sales traders to join our expanding sales trading team based in Amsterdam.

About the role
In your role as a sales trader, your main focus is to build your own client portfolio and provide strategic trade solutions to support your clients in meeting their environmental compliance objectives. You will actively engage in outreach and prospecting through cold calling and client meetings. Working closely with experienced sales traders and being supported with a variety of training sessions, along with close engagement in your professional development, OTC Flow enables your growth in knowledge and skills to become successful in this field.
Main responsibilities
Proactively build your client portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking;
Communicate with clients through phone, online and face-to-face meetings to understand their business needs;
Identify trade opportunities and support in executing them;
Serve as the primary source of information for your contacts;
Provide daily pricing and insights to market actors through messaging systems;
Monitor markets and stay updated on financial news and developments;
Stay informed about the products being traded and current on new products and procedures;
Be responsible for achieving your own revenue (PnL) target;
Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company’s market share.
About you
At least a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field;
Experience in B2B sales, brokerage, 360 recruitment, business development, account management, or similar client-facing roles;
Native-level proficiency in one of the Nordic languages; excellent communication in English is required;
Firm interest in financial markets and commodities;
Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a high-pressure fast-paced environment;
Strong communication and negotiation skills, commercial attitude and entrepreneurial spirit;
Dedicated to achieving high targets early in your professional career.
