Raquel Ros

Raquel Ros is a Tenured Scientist at IIIA-CSIC since January 2025 and a Research Fellow at PAL Robotics, where Raquel also serves as a Senior Scientist in Social Robotics. With prior experience as a Researcher and Lecturer at La Salle BCN from September 2017 to August 2021, Raquel focused on enhancing robotics education, particularly in Human-Robot Interaction and Social Robotics. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Cambridge Consultants, where Raquel specialized in user insights for product innovation, and Research Associate at Imperial College London involved in the FP7 ALIZ-E project. Raquel's academic foundation includes being a Marie Curie Fellow at LAAS-CNRS, investigating cognitive sciences in relation to human-robot interaction, and earning a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
