Laura Lee

Laura Lee is an accomplished Applied Scientist at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute, where work commenced in November 2022, following a role as a Roboticist at Boston Dynamics from May 2020 to November 2022. Prior experience includes a Vehicle Test Engineering Intern position at Aptiv, where test plans for autonomous vehicles were designed and executed. Notably, Laura led the development of autonomous underwater vehicles at Cornell University for the AUVSI RoboSub competition, and also served as a Teaching Assistant for Mechanical Engineering courses. Additional internships at Uber Advanced Technologies Group and Hatch focused on self-driving vehicle development and mechanical engineering support, respectively. Laura holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, complemented by a minor in Computer Science.
