Scott Shaw is an Applied Scientist at RAI Institute since September 2023. Previously, Scott contributed as a Researcher at the National University of Singapore, focusing on gait generation and leg breakage in a hexapod robot from January to July 2022, where Scott enabled online gait adaptation in response to leg faults. Earlier, Scott also worked in the same lab from January to September 2021, implementing a Central Pattern Generator (CPG) model to enhance gait design and transitions, resulting in a published paper at CDC 2022. Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from Northeastern University, completed in 2023, and participated in a study abroad program in Computer Science at Northeastern University London in late 2019. Scott's foundational education was completed at The Haverford School from 2003 to 2019.
