The Opportunity  We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, generating invoices, handling expense reports, and ensuring financial accuracy for the company. This is an on-site role in our Vancouver office, requiring you to collaborate closely with various teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Generate and issue invoices for services rendered.
• Regularly update Google Sheets related to AR, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
• Review and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Record all transactions and expenses in QuickBooks.
• Verify receipts, check for completeness, and ensure proper recording of taxes.
• Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding billing and financial inquiries.

What You’ll Bring

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an advertising or creative industry.
• Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, and Google Sheets).
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
