The Corporate team within Triple Point’s Private Credit business manages a number of pools of capital with a particular focus on lending to large corporates many of which are well known, household names.

This role will have a focus on working with the wider Corporate team in monitoring the existing portfolio of borrowers and working with Relationship Directors to assess the creditworthiness of any potential new borrowers.

This is a great opportunity to join a small team of experienced and driven individuals operating in a dynamic market that requires non bank lenders to provide flexible solutions other established lenders struggle to respond to quickly. Triple Point manages over £1bn of lending assets across a range of economic sectors, and is well known throughout the market for a being a leading lender to UK businesses.

The combination of leveraging nearly 20 years of lending track record, combined with the fast growing opportunities in the Energy Transition sector,  make this a compelling role for the right candidate. 

The role will be varied, but you will be expected to:

  • Work directly with the team originating new business opportunities to assess the creditworthiness of potential new borrowers.
  • Work directly with clients to obtain all necessary financial statements and transaction information in order to fully analyse new proposals
  • Provide additional credit resource for other parts of Triple Point where required
  • Work directly with clients to obtain all necessary financial statements and transaction information in order to effectively monitor the portfolio
  • Track loan compliance ensuring that the lending portfolio is monitored in line with terms of funding and group policy
  • Analysis of management accounts with the aim of identifying and communicating early warning signs to credit and relationship team
  • Monitor covenant testing for the portfolio where required
  • Produce monthly reports on the portfolio including and adverse media findings

Knowledge and Experience

  • Ability to read and analyse company financial accounts
  • Experience analysing credits on large corporate names, often listed
  • Experience in writing/reading credit applications, either from a previous role in credit or a front office role
  • Experience in financial modelling
  • Asset finance experience desirable but not essential
