Samuel Mandillah is an accomplished professional in data science and analytics with a robust background in machine learning and business analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Data and AI at Turaco, Samuel oversees key functions and has successfully collaborated on the automation of claims processing. Previous experience includes roles as a Data Science Consultant at Tappi and a Senior Data Scientist at Ajua™, where leadership of a team resulted in significant advancements in business analytics. Earlier positions involved corporate partnerships at AIC RAISE, IT and web development at Mainstage Incubator and Frankfurt Valley, and actuarial internship at the National Hospital Insurance Fund in Kenya. Educationally, Samuel holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Business Analysis from Bharathiar University and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
