Igor Tsigelny is a Professor at the University of California at San Diego since July 2013, where expertise lies in the analysis of gene networks and protein structures aimed at enhancing personalized medicine, as well as computer-based drug design. Prior to this role, Igor co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer at CureMatch Inc from October 2015 to November 2019, focusing on developing a decision support system for personalized cancer medicine. Igor Tsigelny earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics of Polymers from the Institute of Physics and Mechanics, Academy of Science, Ukraine, between 1973 and 1978.
