Mads Gyrd-Hansen is a prominent researcher in the field of cellular and molecular biology, currently serving as a Professor at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen since October 2020. Mads holds the position of Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow, Group Leader, and EMBO Young Investigator at the University of Oxford since October 2013, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of pro-inflammatory signaling during innate immune responses, particularly in relation to chronic inflammation and cancer progression.
