Britta Meyer

Britta Meyer is a Computational Biologist at Universität Hamburg, specializing in evolutionary immunogenomics since October 2022. Meyer has served as the Education Coordinator and Organizer for the Workshop on Population and Speciation Genomics since May 2017. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Scientist at both the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology from 2018 to October 2022 and GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel from 2014 to 2018, along with a Doctoral Student position at the University of Basel from March 2009 to January 2014, focusing on molecular phylogenetic analyses of East African cichlids. Meyer began academic work with a Diploma in Biology from the University of Hamburg and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Basel.
