Kieran Millar

Kieran Millar is currently a PhD Researcher in Aerospace Electrical Systems at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on the design of reliable and resilient power system architectures for future aerospace applications. In addition to research, Kieran serves as a Teaching Assistant, supporting various undergraduate classes in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department. Previously, Kieran was a Scottish Power Masters Scholar and an IET Power Academy Scholar at ScottishPower, gaining practical experience through summer placements. Kieran's early career included a research internship at the University of Strathclyde, investigating voltage-level impacts on more electric aircraft, and an undergraduate position as a Protection Engineer at Iberdrola Engineering and Construction. Kieran's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Strathclyde.
