Hugh Bishop

Hugh Bishop is an experienced applied scientist currently working at Wayve since February 2022. Prior roles include a machine learning engineering intern at Wayve and a machine learning intern at Five AI for a brief period in mid-2019. Hugh gained valuable research experience as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge, contributing to course materials on inference and machine learning under the guidance of Professor Richard Turner. Hugh holds a Master of Philosophy in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Durham University, alongside foundational education at The Perse School in Cambridge.
