G. Graham Van Hook is an accomplished naval officer with extensive experience in leadership roles within the US Navy and beyond. Currently serving as the Executive Officer of the USS MILIUS (DDG 69) since August 2024, G. Graham Van Hook has held various significant positions, including White House Fellow at The White House from August 2022 to August 2023 and Navy Congressional Liaison Officer at the Appropriations Matters Office from March 2021 to August 2022. Previous command experience includes serving as Commanding Officer of the USS TORNADO (PC 14) and Operations Officer on multiple naval vessels. In addition to military service, G. Graham Van Hook is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and has experience in academia as an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University. G. Graham Van Hook holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science in History from the United States Naval Academy.
