Sophia Yan

Sophia Yan is a seasoned HR professional with over a decade of experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the HR Director for the Americas at RINA since January 2011, Sophia leads a team of over 20 HR professionals and manages HR functions across multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, and several countries in Latin America. Prior to this, Sophia held key roles at VTS Group from January 2007 to January 2011, including HRD for Asia and Head of Corporate Performance Assessment and Personnel Development. Sophia's academic background includes an Executive MBA from Rice Business (2022-2024), a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Jiaotong University, and a Master's degree in Human Resources from The University of Hong Kong.
