Katie Kopil is an accomplished professional in clinical research, currently serving as Senior Vice President at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research since July 2013. With a progressive career at the Foundation, Katie has developed and managed strategic action plans for a substantial research portfolio, focusing on unmet needs in Parkinson’s research and therapy development. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research and adjunct lecturing at the University of Pennsylvania, where Katie earned a PhD in Neuroscience, as well as coordinating Phase I clinical drug trials at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Katie holds an AB in Psychology with a Certificate in Neuroscience from Princeton University.
