Stoyan Bliznakov

Stoyan Bliznakov currently serves as the Associate Director for Research Infrastructure and Associate Research Professor at the University of Connecticut since October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Support Specialist and Lecturer at Stony Brook University, and a Chemist at Health Level One Inc. Notable positions also include Assistant Chemist at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where Stoyan led a U.S. Department of Energy project on advanced fuel cell technologies, and Research Associate at The CUNY Energy Institute, focusing on zinc-based battery technologies. Earlier career stages featured significant contributions to nanostructured catalysts and electrochemical systems across various prestigious institutions.
