Phillip Poyhonen

Phillip Poyhonen currently serves as the Head of Compensation at Verkada since November 2024. Previously, Phillip held the role of Compensation and Rewards at Ramp from July 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading the total rewards program and managing people operations, with notable achievements in launching bonus and equity refresh programs. As the Global Compensation Lead at Nextdoor from June 2021 to July 2022, Phillip contributed to the organization’s compensation strategies. Phillip's career in compensation began at Google, serving as Senior Operations Management - Compensation and progressing through various roles, including Associate Team Lead and People Operations Analyst, from November 2018 to June 2021. Phillip’s early experience includes an internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in 2014. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, graduating in May 2015.
